This hiking route is a moderate 3.796-kilometer circular trail that will take you approximately 1 hour and 53 minutes to complete. The route has an elevation gain of 402 meters.
Starting at the Douglasshütte, a cozy alpine hut where you can grab a bite to eat before starting your journey, you will head out on the trail. Along the way, you will come across a parking area, approximately 0.02 kilometers from the start, where you can leave your vehicle for a fee.
As you continue on the trail, you will pass by an information point about 1.44 kilometers from the start. Here you can learn more about the area and its surroundings. Close to this information point, there is a via ferrata for those seeking more adventure.
About 1.7 kilometers from the start, you will come across a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery. As you near the halfway point of the hike, you will find a drinking water station around 1.22 kilometers from the start, where you can refill your water bottle.
Towards the end of the hike, approximately 1.76 kilometers from the start, there are two more information points where you can gather more insights about the area.
