This extremely difficult 21.796-kilometer circular hiking route takes you through a breathtaking natural landscape with an elevation gain of 957.0 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is 7 hours and 26 minutes, so make sure to pack plenty of food and water.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards the trail. At the beginning of the hike, you will come across the Bergrestaurant Schwendi-Kaltbad, a cozy mountain restaurant located 9.87 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to grab a meal or a snack before continuing on your adventure.

As you progress along the trail, you will reach the Schrotenegg saddle at 3.02 kilometers from the beginning. This is a perfect place to take a break and admire the stunning views of the surrounding area.

Further along the hike, at 8.54 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the peak known as Bärnerstig. This is a challenging but rewarding portion of the hike, offering panoramic vistas that are worth the effort.

At the 10.14-kilometer mark, you will reach a cluster of tourist attractions including a picnic site, a viewpoint called Der Frauenverein, and an information point. Take some time to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings before continuing on your journey.

Throughout the trail, you will also find various picnic sites and BBQ areas where you can rest and refuel. Additionally, make sure to check the weather forecast before heading out, as conditions can change quickly in the mountains.
