This hiking route takes you through the stunning terrain surrounding Lungkofel - Monte Lungo. With a total distance of 10.216 kilometers and an elevation gain of 968 meters, this hike is rated as difficult, so be prepared for a challenging but rewarding adventure.

As you start your journey, you will pass by Putz Alm - Malga Putz, a cozy alpine hut located 2.51 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a great spot to refuel and rest before continuing on. Further along the trail at 4.17 kilometers, you will reach Sarlsattel, a picturesque saddle where you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Continuing onwards, the trail leads you to Lungkofel - Monte Lungo, a majestic peak standing tall at 5.11 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect turnaround point for the out-and-back hike. Along the way, you will also come across Buchsenridl - Passo del Capro, another beautiful saddle located at 2.15 kilometers from the start.
