This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route takes you from Cabana Caraiman to Crucea Caraiman (Cruce Rosie) in the picturesque area of Caraiman. The trail spans a distance of 12.145 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1463.0 meters, offering a challenging yet rewarding experience for hikers.

Starting from Cabana Caraiman, the trail leads you through a scenic path showcasing historic buildings such as Bloc muncitoresc and Colonia muncitorească a Fabricii de Hârtie. Along the way, you will also encounter Fostă Hală de producție and several other significant landmarks that add to the charm of the hike.

As you venture further, you will pass by Cabana Caraiman and reach the iconic Crucea Eroilor de pe Muntele Caraiman, a historic monument located 5.57 kilometers from the start. This viewpoint offers a breathtaking panoramic view, making it a perfect spot to rest and take in the scenery.
