This hiking route takes you through the scenic area of Pared de Santillana. The trail is an out-and-back type, spanning a distance of 7.43 kilometers with an elevation gain of 695 meters, making it a difficult hike suitable for experienced hikers.
Starting at the Aparcamiento Arroyo del Mediano parking area, you'll begin your journey on the trail. Along the way, you'll encounter various points of interest such as the Hueco de San Blas, a natural rock formation located just 0.02 kilometers from the start. As you continue on, you'll pass by the Risco de la Ventana peak at 3.29 kilometers from the start, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Further along the trail, at around 3.59 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Collado de La Ventana saddle, followed by the Cancho de la Herrada peak at 3.57 kilometers. The Pared de Santillana peak is located at 3.72 kilometers from the start, with the Torre de los Buitres peak nearby.
