This challenging hiking route takes you to the stunning Monte Manfriana area, offering breathtaking views and a great workout. The trail is circular, covering a distance of approximately 11.9 kilometers with an elevation gain of 760 meters, making it a difficult journey that will take around 4 hours and 40 minutes to complete.
As you begin your adventure, you will pass by the parking area at the trailhead, located right at the start of the route. Along the way, you will encounter the Sorgente Piano di Ratto spring, perfect for refilling your water bottle and taking a quick break around 1.5 kilometers into the hike.
Continuing on, you will reach the Passo del Principe saddle at around 3.8 kilometers into the hike, offering a scenic viewpoint to rest and admire the surroundings. Further along the trail, you will encounter the Timpa di Ratto peak, adding to the beauty of the landscape at approximately 1.6 kilometers from the start.
