This hiking route takes you through the stunning mountainous region surrounding Punta di Baragnolo. With a total distance of 9.821 kilometers and an elevation gain of 332 meters, this trail is rated as Difficult, suitable for experienced hikers.
Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards the first point of interest, Bocca Paolone, located just 0.02 kilometers from the start. This saddle offers a picturesque view of the surrounding landscape. As you continue on, you will come across Passo della Colomba, a tranquil saddle located 1.34 kilometers from the start.
One of the highlights of this hike is reaching the peak of Punta di Baragnolo, which is situated at the midway point, approximately 4.91 kilometers from the start. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the mountains and valleys below. Further along the trail, you will encounter Cima di Mughera and Punta di Retello, both peaks offering unique vantage points along the route.
As you make your way back, be sure to stop by Passo d'Ere, located 2.78 kilometers from the start, for a moment of rest and reflection. Finally, you will return to the starting point, completing the out-and-back route.
