This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Refuge des Camporells - Tartera in the Capcir region. The 12.32 km trail has an elevation gain of 329.0 meters and is estimated to take about 3 hours and 40 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, you will begin your journey towards the Étang de la Balmette, a beautiful water feature located 1.72 km from the start of the trail. Along the way, you will pass by the Cabane de La Balmeta, a shelter that can be a great resting spot at 2.56 km into the hike. Be sure to check out the Source de la Balmeta, a natural spring located 2.66 km from the start, to refill your water bottle.

Further along the trail, at around 4.03 km, you will come across the Estany de l'Anec, another picturesque water spot. Continuing on, at the 6.16 km mark, you will reach the Estany de la Basseta and two more water features. These serene locations provide excellent opportunities to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

As you make your way back to the trailhead, you will have the chance to appreciate the natural beauty of the area and the peacefulness of the landscape. Be sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear for this challenging trek.
