This hiking route is located in a picturesque area with breathtaking views of the Pyrenees mountains. The trail is 20.786 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1017 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike. It is recommended to be well-prepared with proper gear and supplies.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking areas for convenience. As you proceed further, you will come across the Toue de La Pègue shelter, where you can take a break and rest.
Continuing on, you will reach the historic ruins of Cabanes de La Gaubie, adding a touch of history to your journey. Along the trail, you will also encounter various water sources such as Lac d'Agalops and Lac de Coueyla-Gran, providing opportunities to refill your water supply.
