This challenging hiking route will take you to the beautiful Lac d'Arizes area. The total distance of the hike is 10.302 kilometers with an elevation gain of 751.0 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous adventure that will last approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes.

Starting at the designated parking area, you will follow the trail that leads you through stunning wilderness scenery. Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. About 0.24 kilometers from the start, you will find a parking area where you can leave your vehicle. Further along the trail, at 1.43 kilometers from the start, you will pass by the historic wayside cross known as Croix gravée.

As you continue your journey, at 1.89 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a water feature. This is a great spot to refill your water bottles and take in the tranquil surroundings. Another water feature awaits you at 5.15 kilometers from the start, near the picturesque Lac d'Arizes. This will be a perfect place to rest and enjoy the stunning views.

At 3.58 kilometers from the start, you will reach Cabane d'Arizes, a wilderness hut where you can take a break and maybe even spend the night if you're on a multi-day adventure. This hut offers basic accommodation facilities and is a popular stopping point for hikers in the area.
