This hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Fuente el Grayal, Carretera Riaño, Puerto de Tarna, and Caso. The trail is 9.11 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 400 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across the ruins at a distance of 2.27 kilometers from the trail. These historic ruins offer a glimpse into the past as you make your way through the picturesque landscape. Further along the trail, at 3.37 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Peña Lloricu, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding natural beauty.
Continuing on, you will encounter several other peaks along the way, such as Peña Grayal, Pico Paréu, and others, each offering unique vantage points and photo opportunities. Make sure to keep an eye out for the natural spring, Fuente el Grayal, located at 0.86 kilometers from the start, providing a refreshing stop to rest and hydrate.
As you reach the midway point of the hike, you will come across a saddle at 4.39 kilometers, followed by more peaks like Peña Grayal and others. The trail eventually leads back to the starting point at Fuente el Grayal, where you can reflect on the challenging yet memorable journey you've completed.
