This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Cascade de Vanc. The trail is 4.23 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 135 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. It is estimated to take about 1 hour and 19 minutes to complete.
As you start your hike, you will come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking areas as well as a wayside cross from 1631. About 2.12 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Cascade de Vanc, a picturesque waterfall where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery. Nearby, there is also an archaeological site called Pierre levée.
Along the way, you will also pass by a bar and a restaurant, perfect for grabbing a bite to eat or a refreshing drink. Make sure to stay hydrated during your hike and bring enough water with you. Additionally, checking the weather forecast before heading out is always a good idea.
As you make your way back, you will encounter more historic sites such as the Croix de la Peste 1631 and another wayside cross. A point of interest called Le Pont, an informational site, will also be on your way back.
