This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area surrounding the Refuge de l'Estrop. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting at an elevation of 1754 meters and reaching the destination at 2031 meters.

As you embark on this adventure, you will come across several points of interest along the way. Approximately 2 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Cabane de l'Auriac wilderness hut, offering a rustic accommodation option for hikers. Further along, at a distance of 5 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Refuge de l'Estrop, an alpine hut where you can rest and refuel before heading back.

During your hike, make sure to stay hydrated as the total distance is 10.7 kilometers with an elevation gain of 984 meters. The trail will lead you through natural landscapes, with a water point located 3 kilometers from the start and a saddle at Baisse de l'Auriac at the same distance. You will also come across various information points such as Pont de l'Abrau, Passerelle des Lauzes, and Le Hameau, providing insights into the surroundings.
