Welcome to the hiking route to Le Castellaras de Thorenc! This route offers a scenic and historical hike in the beautiful area. With a total distance of 2.523 kilometers and an elevation gain of 148 meters, this trail is rated as easy in terms of difficulty.

Your journey will start at the designated parking area, located at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to bring enough water and snacks for the hike, and always check the weather forecast before setting out.

As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several points of interest. Approximately 1.08 kilometers from the start, you will encounter ruins showcasing the area's historic significance. Further along, at 1.19 kilometers, you will find more ruins. At 1.23 kilometers, you will reach additional ruins as well as Castellaras de Thorenc.

Midway through the hike, at 1.26 kilometers, you will reach the peak known as Le Castellaras de Thorenc. Take some time to enjoy the panoramic views before heading back. Along the way back, at 0.62 kilometers, you will find an information point to learn more about the area.

Please note that there is a climbing area called Castellaras Nord (escalade) located 1.26 kilometers from the start, but it is not directly on the trail.
