Welcome to the Naturfreundeweg hiking route. This easy out-and-back trail covers a distance of 1.697 kilometers with an elevation gain of 135 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels. The total duration of the hike is approximately 43 minutes and 49 seconds.
The trail starts at the parking area near port361. As you set off, you'll pass by the Hochspeicher Häuselberg water reservoir, located about 150 meters from the trail, where you can take in the serene surroundings.
About midway through the hike, at a distance of 670 meters from the start, you'll encounter the Gute Hexe artwork and various cave entrances such as Häuselberghöhle and Häuselbergdurchschlupf. These unique geological features add an element of adventure to the hike.
As you continue along the trail, you'll find several benches and picnic sites where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery. The F.-Leitner-Bank viewpoint offers a stunning vista, located about 740 meters from the trail.
Towards the end of the hike, at a distance of 850 meters from the start, you'll come across informational points like the Vogelkundlicher Lehrpfad, providing insights into the local flora and fauna.
