This hiking route will take you to the picturesque area of Mirador Lago Gutiérrez. The trail is 6.915 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 144 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. It will take you approximately 1 hour and 57 minutes to complete this out-and-back route.
As you start your hike, you will come across Camping Los Coihues, a campsite located 2.12 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, you will reach a beautiful beach just at the start of the trail, perfect for a quick stop to take in the view.
As you continue, you will encounter several points of interest along the way. About 2.55 kilometers into the hike, you will find Cascada de los Duendes, a stunning waterfall that is worth the visit. Midway through the hike, at 3.46 kilometers from the start, you will reach Mirador Lago Gutiérrez, a viewpoint offering breathtaking views of the lake.
For sustenance and rest, Nomeolvides cafe is conveniently located 0.82 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Additionally, there are picnic sites and a bar available around the 2-kilometer mark for a relaxing break.
