Further along the route, at around 2.7 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Refuge Giacomini, a cozy alpine hut where hikers can rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Continuing on, you'll encounter Cabane Barraud at 3.2 kilometers, another alpine hut offering accommodation and amenities for weary travelers.

For those interested in natural wonders, be sure to explore the cave entrance at 4.2 kilometers from the start, offering a unique glimpse into the area's geology. Additionally, at around 4.3 kilometers, you'll find two scenic viewpoints, providing panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

As you trek through the route, passing through Col des Essets at 4.3 kilometers, keep an eye out for informative signage and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Finally, on your way back, make a stop at Café Restaurant de Solalex for a relaxing break before completing your journey.
