Welcome to the Anzeindaz hiking route! This circular route covers a distance of 9.457 kilometers with an elevation gain of 701.0 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 56 minutes to complete.
The trail starts at Solalex, where you can find parking to leave your vehicle before starting the hike. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across various points of interest. Around 2.69 kilometers into the hike, you'll find the Refuge Giacomini, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Continuing on, at 3.17 kilometers, you'll reach Cabane Barraud, another alpine hut offering accommodation for hikers.
Further along the trail at 4.24 kilometers, you'll encounter a cave entrance, adding a touch of adventure to your hike. Around 4.26 kilometers, you'll reach Col des Essets, a saddle point with informational signs to learn more about the area. Additionally, be sure to visit the viewpoints at 4.7 kilometers, offering stunning panoramic views of the landscape.
For sustenance, there are various dining options along the trail, including Miroir d'Argentine and Café Restaurant de Solalex. Remember to stay hydrated by refilling your water bottle at the drinking water point located at 0.06 kilometers into the hike.
