Located in the beautiful Swiss Alps, this moderate 5.383-kilometer hiking route will take you on an out-and-back journey starting at Solalex. Make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast before heading out.
As you begin your hike, you'll pass by the charming Solalex parking area, which marks the starting point of the trail. Further along the route, at a distance of 2.56 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the Refuge de la Tour d'Anzeindaz, a cozy alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning mountain views.
Continuing on, you'll reach the Refuge Giacomini at the 2.69-kilometer mark, another alpine hut offering accommodation for hikers. This is a great spot to rest and refuel before heading back on the trail.
On your way back, you can stop by the Miroir d'Argentine restaurant, located at the beginning of the trail, or the Café Restaurant de Solalex, both offering delicious meals to replenish your energy.
For added convenience, there is a drinking water station midway through the hike, located 0.06 kilometers from the start, where you can refill your water bottles.
