This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area around Sommet de la Sapet, offering stunning views and a challenging trek. The total distance of the route is 20.367 kilometers with an elevation gain of 845 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will take approximately 6 hours and 49 minutes to complete.

Starting from Mairie de Clumanc, you will embark on this out-and-back trail towards Sommet de la Sapet. Along the way, you will come across several points of interest that will enhance your hiking experience. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking available for your convenience.

As you continue on, you will encounter Le Gion and La Plaine, where you can gather information about the area. Further along the trail, at a distance of 7.09 kilometers from the start, you will find Chapelle Saint-Paul de Douroulles, a shelter where you can take a rest and enjoy the surroundings.

Midway through the hike, at a distance of 10.18 kilometers from the start, you will reach the highlight of the route, Sommet de la Sapet, a peak offering breathtaking panoramic views. Be sure to take some time to soak in the beauty of the surroundings before heading back.
