As you continue on the trail, approximately 1.81 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a historic wayside cross. This is a great spot to take a break and admire the surroundings. Further along the trail, at 2.79 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Poggio Castellare, where you will be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the area.

On your way back, you may want to visit Pieve di San Quirico, a set of ruins located 0.46 kilometers from the start. This historic site adds an extra layer of intrigue to your hike.
