This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Rotenstein - Sasso Rosso. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 5.5 kilometers and an elevation gain of 208 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.

As you start your hike, you will pass by Schneiderwiesen, a restaurant just 43 meters from the trail, where you can grab a meal or drink before or after your adventure. Approximately 2.34 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water point for refilling your bottles, located just 69 meters from the trail.

One of the highlights of the route is the viewpoint at Rotwand - Parete Rossa, situated 1.77 kilometers from the start, although it is not directly on the trail. Another noteworthy viewpoint is found at Auchtenegg, a peak located 2.59 kilometers away from the trail.

Along the way, you will also come across various facilities such as benches and wayside shrines for relaxation and contemplation. Make sure to check out the bench and wayside cross 1.19 kilometers into the hike, just 17 meters from the trail.
