As you start your journey, you'll pass by Grillhúsið, a restaurant just 0.01 kilometers from the trail. This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat before or after your hike. Along the way, you'll also come across various parking areas for your convenience.

About 0.47 kilometers into the hike, you'll find benches, bicycle parking, and information points where you can take a break and learn more about the area. Make sure to check out the informative signs such as "Kort af Elliðaárdal" and "Lífið í ánum."

As you continue on, you'll reach Ullarfoss, a beautiful waterfall located 0.93 kilometers from the start of the trail. This is a great place to pause, take in the scenery, and maybe even snap some photos.
