This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards the Sittnerwarte viewpoint. As you hike along the trail, you will pass by the Roter Ofen climbing area, located just 0.49 kilometers from the start. This can be a great spot to observe climbers in action.

Further along the trail, at a distance of 0.14 kilometers from the start, you will come across a drinking water station and a bench to rest and take in the surroundings. Continuing on, you will reach the Höhle beim Weißen Kreuz cave entrance at 0.31 kilometers from the start, offering an intriguing stop to explore.

As you approach the midway point of the hike, you will reach the Hundskogel peak at 0.69 kilometers from the start, providing panoramic views of the area. At a distance of 0.73 kilometers, you will finally arrive at the Sittnerwarte viewpoint, where you can enjoy breathtaking vistas of the landscape.

This out-and-back route spans approximately 1.455 kilometers with an elevation gain of 139 meters, making it a relatively easy hike suitable for most skill levels. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this scenic adventure.
