Welcome to the hiking route in Ma'aleh Gilboa! This moderate difficulty out-and-back trail covers a distance of 3.508 kilometers with an elevation gain of 359 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is 1 hour and 42 minutes.
As you start your journey, you will come across "חניון אתר החרמון" (Parking area) located right at the beginning of the trail. About 0.24 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a restaurant where you can grab a quick bite to eat.
Continuing on, at a distance of 1.75 kilometers from the start, you'll reach a viewpoint offering breathtaking scenery and a cafe for a refreshing break. Nearby, you'll also find a memorial site to learn about the area's history.
As you make your way back, you'll encounter two artwork tourist spots that add to the charm of the trail. Don't forget to visit "איש השלג" (Snowman Cafe) located 0.29 kilometers from the trail start for a final treat before concluding your hike.
