This challenging circular hiking route, known as PR-M2, takes you through a beautiful area with a total distance of 11.449 kilometers and an elevation gain of 834 meters. You can expect to spend around 4 hours and 44 minutes to complete this hike.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the picturesque La Charca Verde at around 1.79 kilometers from the beginning. This natural water feature is a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery. Continuing on, you will come across Machacaderas parking lot and Alta Montaña restaurant, which are located right at the start of the trail.

As you trek further, at approximately 1.9 kilometers from the start, you will find another water source called Fuente de las Zorras. Be sure to refill your water bottles here before heading towards the peaks that lie ahead.

Throughout the hike, you will encounter several peaks such as Las Milaneras and Puerta de la Pedriza, offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings. Make sure to capture the beautiful scenery along the way.

Midway through your journey, around 3.15 kilometers from the start, you will reach Cascada del Chivato waterfall, a refreshing sight to behold. Take some time to relax and enjoy the peaceful ambiance before continuing on your adventure.
