Welcome to the hiking route to Crêt du Midi! This trail offers a beautiful and easy hike with a total distance of 3.719 kilometers and an elevation gain of 177 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels. The estimated duration for this hike is approximately 1 hour and 18 minutes.

Starting from the trailhead, you will first come across a parking area, located right at the beginning of the route, where you can leave your vehicle before starting your adventure. As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by several points of interest. About 1.63 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter Crêt du Midi, a peak offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. Further along the trail, at approximately 1.78 kilometers, you will reach the Décollage Crêt-du-Midi Ouest and Restaurant du Crêt-du-Midi, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.

Continuing on, at around 1.79 kilometers, you will find informative signposts about Haut-Valais, Valais Central, Vallon de Réchy, and Bienvenue, providing you with interesting insights into the region's history and geography. Midway through the hike, at approximately 1.82 kilometers, you will reach the Décollage Crêt-du-Midi Est, another takeoff point for free-flying enthusiasts.

As you approach the end of the trail, at 1.86 kilometers, you will reach another point of interest, the Crêt du Midi peak, which marks the turnaround point of the route. Take some time to admire the breathtaking views before heading back along the same path to complete the out-and-back journey.
