This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 14.262-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 986 meters to the stunning destination of Punta di Grifone. The trail starts at a parking area, where you can find drinking water to fill up your bottles before starting the hike.
As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several points of interest. Midway through the hike, you will encounter a wayside shrine and an information point where you can learn more about the area's historic significance. There are also drinking water stations along the trail to keep you hydrated.
Further along the route, you will pass by Ceppo della Rosa dei Venti, a historic monument, and Truc Muandette peak. Be sure to take in the views from Colle Astesiani saddle and the various peaks like Punta Sbaron, Truc Muandette, and more along the way.
At the end of the trail, you will reach the breathtaking Punta di Grifone peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding natural beauty. Remember to check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike and bring plenty of water and snacks to stay energized throughout the journey.
