This extremely difficult 13.6 km out-and-back hiking route takes you through the stunning area of 8077 - מועצה אזורית עמק הירדן. The trail begins at a convenient parking area located right at the start of the hike. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as this challenging route will take around 4 hours to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across a drinking water station about 0.92 km into the hike, perfect for refilling your water bottles. Further along the trail, at the 1.73 km mark, you will encounter a beautiful water source, providing a refreshing spot to rest and take in the surroundings.
Around 6.8 km into the hike, you will reach an impressive rock formation known as העמוד של נחל עמוד, a must-see attraction in the area. Take some time to explore and appreciate this natural wonder before continuing on.
At the same location, there is also a viewpoint offering breathtaking vistas of the surrounding landscape, providing the perfect opportunity to take a break and capture some memorable photos.
