This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to Mont Bonvin, offering a challenging yet rewarding experience. The trail spans a distance of 12.137 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1236 meters, making it a demanding trek that requires endurance and stamina.
Starting at Plumachit, a restaurant located at the beginning of the trail, hikers can fuel up before embarking on their journey to Mont Bonvin. As you make your way through the rugged terrain, you'll come across Tothorn, a peak situated 5.22 kilometers from the start of the trail. Although not directly on the trail, Tothorn provides breathtaking views and a great spot for a rest break.
Continuing onwards, at the 3.24-kilometer mark, you'll encounter an information point providing insights about the local area. As you push further, Mont Bonvin, the main destination of the hike, greets you at the 6.07-kilometer mark. Take in the stunning panoramic views from the peak before retracing your steps back.
