Welcome to the hiking route along Nim Wan Road in Yuen Long District. This challenging out-and-back trail covers a distance of approximately 25.7 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1054 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for avid hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Grand Canyon of Leung Tin Au, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Around the 10.5-kilometer mark, you will find several water sources where you can replenish your supplies. Be sure to check these locations as you pass by, as some are off the trail.
Further along the route, at around 8.9 kilometers in, you will encounter the impressive Grand Gully of Leung Tin Au, providing a stunning natural spectacle. As you continue, you may also spot the Wo Tong Tau peak, standing majestically at 2.85 kilometers from the start.
Throughout the hike, you will find benches for resting and enjoying the scenery, as well as a spring for a refreshing break at 7.57 kilometers in. Additionally, there are parking spaces available near the start of the trail for your convenience.
