This hiking route takes you through a challenging terrain with a distance of approximately 12 kilometers and an elevation gain of 595 meters, making it extremely difficult. The trail is an out-and-back type, leading you to the stunning peak of Risco Redondo.
Starting off at the trailhead, you will find parking facilities nearby for your convenience. As you make your way along the path, you will encounter the majestic peak of Peña del Rayo at around 3.71 kilometers from the start. This vantage point offers breathtaking views of the surroundings, making it a great spot to take in the scenery and rest before continuing your journey.
Around the midway point, at 5.68 kilometers from the start, you will come across Collado de las Yeguas, a saddle offering a unique perspective of the landscape. As you push forward, the trail will lead you to another saddle at 5.29 kilometers, providing a brief change of scenery before reaching your ultimate destination.
Finally, after a challenging hike, you will reach Risco Redondo at 6.02 kilometers from the start. This peak offers a rewarding panoramic view, making the entire journey worth the effort.
