This challenging hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Chemin de Bois Barnier. The trail spans a distance of 4.97 kilometers with an elevation gain of 716 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take approximately 2 hours and 56 minutes to complete.
As you embark on this journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking facilities for your convenience. As you make your way further, you will encounter the Source de Moulin Marquis, a natural spring located 2.11 kilometers from the starting point. The Cascade de Moulin Marquis, a picturesque waterfall, can be found 1.38 kilometers into the hike. Additionally, the Pas de l'Écharson, a natural saddle, is situated 2.37 kilometers from the start.
Around the midway point of the trail, you will discover the Grotte des Gaulois, a cave entrance that offers a unique experience for hikers. A climbing area can also be found nearby, providing an opportunity for adventure enthusiasts to test their skills.
