Located in a picturesque area, this moderate 4.151-kilometer out-and-back trail offers stunning views and a decent elevation gain of 438 meters. It will take approximately 2 hours and 3 minutes to complete.
Starting at the designated parking area, you will begin your journey towards Pizzo San Michele. Along the way, you will find several points of interest. At just 0.07 kilometers from the start, you will come across Acqua CARPEGNA, a drinking water spot, perfect for refilling your bottle.
As you continue onwards, approximately 0.79 kilometers into the trail, an information point awaits you with insightful details about the area. Take a moment to rest at one of the benches scattered along the path at the 0.07, 0.08, and 0.08-kilometer marks respectively.
Around the 0.61-kilometer mark, a viewpoint (osm_id: 2880488622) offers a spectacular panoramic scene, rewarding you for your efforts. At the 2.06-kilometer mark stands another information point, providing valuable knowledge about the surroundings.
Upon reaching the peak of Pizzo San Michele at 2.08 kilometers, take in the breathtaking views before retracing your steps back to the starting point. For those in need of shelter, there is a facility located at the 2.06-kilometer mark, perfect for a brief rest.
