This hiking route is set in a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes. The route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of 20.346 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1039.0 meters, making it extremely difficult.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Speichersee Enzingerboden, a picturesque water body located just 0.47 kilometers away from the trail. Along the way, you will also find the Alpengasthof Enzingerboden restaurant, where you can take a break and enjoy some local cuisine. This restaurant is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail.
Midway through your hike, at around 7.4 kilometers from the start, you will encounter several water sources, including natural springs and rivers, providing a refreshing stop to replenish your water supply. As you progress further, at around 10.17 kilometers from the start, you will find more water bodies dotted along the trail, offering a serene and calming atmosphere.
Throughout the hike, you will also pass by the Info-Ausstellung "BahnStrom", an information center providing insights into the local area's history and culture. Additionally, there are parking areas available both at the beginning of the trail and along the way, making it convenient for hikers to access the route.
Given the length and elevation gain of the trail, it is recommended to bring an ample water supply, snacks, and proper hiking gear.
