Welcome to the Chemin du Maquis hiking route!

This super easy 1.374 km circular route with an elevation gain of 73 meters will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. The trail starts at the parking area located at the beginning of the route.

Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. At 0.16 kilometers from the start, you will find the Moais artwork, a beautiful tourist attraction. Further along, at 0.19 kilometers, there is a bike parking facility and a fast-food establishment called L'Horloge.

As you continue on the trail, you will come across a water source at 0.32 kilometers, ideal for refilling your water bottle. Additionally, there are more water access points at 0.41 and 0.63 kilometers from the start.

At 0.24 kilometers into the hike, there is a bench where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the surroundings. Another bike parking facility is available at 0.25 kilometers for those arriving on two wheels.

Before embarking on this journey, ensure you have an adequate water supply, as some sections of the trail may be exposed to the sun. Don't forget to check the weather forecast and wear appropriate footwear for a comfortable hike.
