This hiking route takes you on a 7.353-kilometer out-and-back journey to Camino a Las lagunas de Claveles y los Pájaros. The trail is considered difficult, with an elevation gain of 516 meters, so be prepared for a challenging trek.

Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, you will begin your adventure amidst the natural beauty of the area. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest, including Laguna Chica de Peñalara, a small lake located 1.75 kilometers from the start. This serene spot offers a peaceful place to rest and take in the surrounding scenery.

Continuing on, you will pass by several water features, such as streams and larger bodies of water, that provide a refreshing sight and sound as you hike. Be sure to bring plenty of water with you, as hydration is key on this strenuous route.

As you make your way towards the turnaround point, be on the lookout for viewpoints like Mirador de Javier, which offers a stunning perspective of the landscape below. Additionally, you may come across benches where you can take a break and soak in the views.
