This hiking route will take you on a journey to the beautiful area surrounding Laguna Chica de Peñalara. With a total distance of 7.353 kilometers and an elevation gain of 516 meters, this hike is classified as difficult and is expected to take around 3 hours to complete.

Starting at the parking area at the beginning of the trail, you will make your way through the stunning landscape, passing by notable points of interest along the way. About 1.75 kilometers into the hike, you will come across Laguna Chica de Peñalara, a picturesque water feature that offers a serene spot to rest and take in the surroundings.

Continuing onwards, at around 3.29 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter several more water sources, including those that are right along the trail. These spots provide a refreshing break and a chance to refill your water supply if needed.

As you reach the midway point of the hike, at approximately 2.1 kilometers, you will find an information point where you can learn more about the area and its natural beauty. Additionally, there are viewpoints along the trail, such as Mirador de Javier, offering breathtaking vistas of the surrounding landscape.

Towards the end of the route, at 2.96 kilometers in, you will find yourself near a peak, where you can enjoy sweeping views of the area before heading back along the same path to complete the out-and-back journey.
