Welcome to the Serpentýnky hiking route! This 13.067-kilometer out-and-back trail is rated as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a challenging adventure. The route has an elevation gain of 329 meters and is estimated to take around 3 hours and 50 minutes to complete.
Beginning your journey, you'll find parking available right at the trailhead, making it easy to start your hike. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across two water sources within the first kilometer, providing a refreshing opportunity to refuel.
Approximately midway through the hike, at 4.94 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the beautiful Svatý Josef spring, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.
Continuing on, at the 6.53-kilometer mark, you'll have the chance to explore Hřibový vrch peak, where you can take in panoramic views from the viewpoint nearby. Additionally, you'll find interesting rock formations to admire along the way.
For those interested in history, two wayside shrines can be found at 0.26 and 0.28 kilometers from the start, providing a glimpse into the area's historic significance.
