This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding the Slunečný rybník (Sunny Pond). The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 3.205 kilometers and no significant elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will pass by the Pšeničkův rybník (Pšenice Pond), a picturesque water feature located just 1.16 kilometers from the start. As you continue on, you will come across the Olšový rybník (Olšový Pond) around 0.4 kilometers from the start, although it is not directly on the trail. Further along the route, at 1.52 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Slunečný rybník, after which the destination of the hike is named.

Other points of interest along the trail include the Eduardův pramen (Eduard Spring) at 1.23 kilometers from the start, a picnic site located right at the beginning of the trail, and the Chatová osada (Cottage Settlement) at 0.31 kilometers from the start.

Additionally, various informational points can be found throughout the hike, providing insights into the natural and historical significance of the area. These include locations such as Běžecké okruhy Lanškournské rybníky, a series of running circuits, and Přírodní park a evropsky významná lokalita Lanškournské rybníky, a natural park and European Significant Site that showcases the ecosystem of the Lanškournské rybníky.

Before embarking on this hike, make sure to bring an adequate supply of water, as there are limited water sources along the trail.
