Welcome to the Albengipfel hiking route, a challenging 9.172-kilometer circular trail with an elevation gain of 841 meters, taking approximately 4 hours and 13 minutes to complete.

The trail starts at P4 parking lot, where you can leave your vehicle for free. As you begin your hike, you'll pass by Ramba Zamba Express pub and P3 parking lot before reaching Höfener Alm, a mountain hut located 3.16 kilometers from the start point. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy some local cuisine before continuing your journey.

Further along the trail, at a distance of 3.68 kilometers from the start, you'll find Bergrestaurant Hahnenkamm. This restaurant offers a picturesque setting to rest and refuel while taking in stunning views of the surroundings. Nearby, you can also visit Cilli Hütte, another restaurant located 2.63 kilometers from the start.

As you make your way towards Albengipfel, the highest point of the route, at 4.08 kilometers from the start, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Along the way, you'll also come across the Alpenblumengarten (Alpine Flower Garden) and various information points with interesting facts about the area.

It's important to note that the trail is considered difficult due to its length and elevation gain. Make sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and wear sturdy hiking shoes. Checking the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure is recommended.
