Welcome to the Minčol hiking route!

Minčol is a challenging circular trail with a distance of approximately 14.4 kilometers and an elevation gain of 644 meters, making it extremely difficult. The hike is expected to take about 4 hours and 56 minutes to complete.

You will start your journey at the trailhead where there is parking available. Make sure to pack enough water and snacks for the trek.

As you begin your hike, you will come across the wayside cross at a distance of 290 meters from the starting point. Further along the trail, at 1.57 kilometers into the hike, you will find a memorial and a natural spring where you can replenish your water supply.

As you continue on, at 5.7 kilometers into the hike, you will find the wilderness hut named "Pod Minčolom" where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.

Midway through your hike, at 6.8 kilometers, you will reach the peak of Minčol, offering stunning panoramic views of the area. Take some time to rest and appreciate the beauty of the scenery.

Throughout the trail, you will also encounter various information points, viewpoints, picnic sites, and shelters. These spots provide interesting insights into the history and natural features of the area.

Before embarking on this challenging hike, make sure to check the weather forecast and wear appropriate hiking gear. And don't forget to visit Bar Hradské, located 1.44 kilometers from the start, for a well-deserved meal or refreshment after completing the route.
