This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Mitterbach Wasserfall. The trail is a super easy 1.602-kilometer hike with an elevation gain of 77 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across Ruine Peggau, a historic castle located 0.72 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the path, you will encounter a natural water feature at 0.14 kilometers and another one at 0.66 kilometers. The trail also leads you to the Mitterbach Wasserfall, a stunning waterfall located 0.8 kilometers from the trailhead. Be sure to take in the views from the viewpoint located at the same spot.
Along the way, you will find benches for resting and facilities such as information points to learn more about the surroundings. Keep an eye out for historic landmarks like Nöst Materl and Julius Stelzer, both located along the trail.
