Welcome to the hiking route to Hochzinödl!

This challenging 16.568 km route with an elevation gain of 1638.0 meters is not for the faint of heart, but the stunning views make it worth the effort. Make sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and a map before starting your journey.

Starting at the parking area, you'll begin your ascent towards the peak of Hochzinödl. Along the way, you'll pass by various points of interest. At 0.1 km from the start, you'll find a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.

Further along the trail at 1.83 km, you'll come across an information point providing insights into the local area. At 2.7 km, you'll encounter another information point called Köhlerei. Learn about the history and significance of this area as you continue your hike.

As you approach the midway point at 3.3 km, you'll come across Hartelsgraben Jagdhütte, a hunting lodge nestled in the mountains. Take a moment to rest and soak in the tranquility of the surroundings.

Continuing on, at 5.15 km, you'll reach Sulzkar, another informative stop along the trail. At 5.62 km, you'll find yourself at the beautiful Sulzkar area. Take some time to appreciate the natural beauty before pushing on towards the peak.

At 8.28 km, you'll reach the peak of Hochzinödl, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Take a well-deserved break and soak in the beauty before beginning your descent back.
