Around the midway point of the hike, approximately 2.01 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Stagno del Pungitopo / Kopanje, a beautiful water feature that provides a serene setting for a rest stop. Here, you can enjoy the tranquil surroundings before continuing your journey.

Along the trail, you will also pass by various springs and cave entrances, including Timavo / Timava 1, Timavo / Timava 2, Grotta del Dio Mithra, and Pozzo dei Colombi di Duino, adding a touch of natural wonder to your hiking experience.
