As you begin your journey, you will come across the Äußere Alpila alpine hut, situated 2.9 kilometers from the trailhead. Further along the trail, at 4.61 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the picturesque peak of Hochgerach, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
Midway through the hike, at 5.3 kilometers, you will find the peak of Hüttenkopf, although it is not directly on the trail. Be sure to explore this natural wonder before continuing on your path.
At various points along the trail, you will also discover notable landmarks such as the Goppeskopf peak and the Henslerstüble restaurant, which is open from Thursday to Monday and offers a range of sustenance for hungry hikers.
