This hiking route takes you through the stunning area around Rifugio Case Cardone, along the Torrente Fontanazzi, and past the Caserma Forestale. At 9.87 kilometers into the hike, you'll encounter the impressive peak known as Pizzo Voturi, although it's slightly off the trail. This spot offers panoramic views but requires a slight detour. Additionally, at 9.81 kilometers from the start, there is a viewpoint that offers breathtaking sights of the surrounding landscape.
As you continue on the trail, you'll find Rifugio Case Cardone at 12.06 kilometers. This alpine hut provides a cozy resting spot and a chance to refuel before making your way back. The route is an out-and-back type, so you'll retrace your steps on the return journey.
