This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the stunning peak of Jalovnik, covering a distance of 17.794 kilometers with an elevation gain of 825 meters. The estimated duration for this journey is around 6 hours and 10 minutes, so make sure to plan accordingly and start early in the day.

Starting off at the trailhead, you will come across the cozy Alpine hut called Koča na planini Stador, where you can rest and replenish your energy for the challenging hike ahead. This alpine hut is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail, making it a perfect spot to prepare for the journey.

As you continue on the trail, about 1.45 kilometers in, you will find an information point providing insights about the surrounding area. Keep pushing forward, and at the same spot, you will also find a drinking water source to keep yourself hydrated along the way.

Midway through your hike, around 8.9 kilometers from the start, you will reach the breathtaking peak of Jalovnik. Take in the panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes and revel in your accomplishment of reaching this notable destination.

On your way back, make a stop at the various information points located at 7.29 and 7.77 kilometers from the start, offering more knowledge about the area and enhancing your overall hiking experience.
