This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Drndáč peak. The trail is 17.683 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 497 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers. The estimated duration for this hike is 5 hours and 20 minutes.

As you start your journey, you will pass by the parking area located right at the trailhead, making it easy to access the route. Along the way, you will come across points of interest such as Podkonice, a nearby village located 5.21 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at the 2.16 kilometer mark, you'll find a historic wayside cross that adds a cultural touch to your hike.

As you continue on, you'll reach Chata na Plešiach, a mountain cottage located 6.79 kilometers from the start of the trail. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the scenic views. Just a little further, at the 6.83 kilometer mark, you'll find more information points to learn about the area's history and significance.

Finally, the highlight of the hike is reaching Drndáč peak at the 8.84 kilometer mark, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging adventure. As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps on the way back to the trailhead.
