Welcome to the Winzenberg hiking route!

Located in a picturesque area, this easy 4.832-kilometer circular trail offers stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way.

Starting at the parking area, you will first come across a drinking water station, perfect for refilling your bottle before embarking on the hike. As you begin your journey, keep an eye out for the wayside cross located just 0.03 kilometers from the start of the trail.

Continuing onwards, at 1.35 kilometers into the hike, you will find a comfortable bench where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the surrounding nature. Further along the path, at 1.9 kilometers, there is an information board providing insight into the area's history and attractions.

Halfway through the hike, at 2.26 kilometers, you will reach Winzenberg, a charming viewpoint offering panoramic views of the surroundings. Take some time to soak in the beauty of the landscape before heading back on the trail.

As you make your way back, you will pass by Restaurant Frohe Aussicht at 1.96 kilometers, where you can stop for a meal or refreshments. Additionally, benches are strategically placed along the trail for hikers to rest and take in the serene environment.

With a total elevation gain of 149 meters, this hike is suitable for all skill levels. Remember to bring plenty of water, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
